Games Leadership®: Securing the Future of the Games Industry
Video Games have revolutionised the UK Market and have been responsible for pushing a rapid increase in Technology within our economy over the last 70 years. Between December 2021 and April 2023, the game industry in the United Kingdom contributed an annual total of 3.68 billion British pounds to the UK's GDP, the highest recorded figure since 2011.
Whilst Video Games are met with enthusiasm by the general public, the development of Games is often something of a mystery. However, behind the familiar titles and recognisable characters there are whole teams of talented people working together to problem solve different technological challenges to create the Games we love.
