Digital Transformation in Social Work; amplifying the voices that need to be heard

Digital Voice for Communities helped Gateshead Council win the gold award for Digital Transformation in Social Work in 2023. Here both partners will show you how they did this, by using an innovative approach to amplifying voices of experience, leading to a greater understanding of the issues faced by those the local authority support through social workers. We will share clips from a range of DigitalMe animations, so you hear from children with experience of domestic abuse, young people in the youth justice service and children with experience of the care system about the issues they face and what they want their local authorities to do to improve their lives.
