Digital Inclusion of Older Adults within Local Council - Enhancing Continuous use of digital platforms and e-participation

This talk is centred on a longitudinal research conducted on a local council within the UK. The research seeks to understand how older adults were impacted by the forced and default shift to digital platform use by the Local Councils during and post-COVID. It is expected that the session will draw lines into the factors that affect older adults' continuous use of council digital platforms post-COVID and what council authorities can do to enhance the older adults' inclusivity in e-participation further enhancing co-creation.
