About this speaker

Dr. Emma Stone is a social researcher who has straddled research, policy and practice for two decades. Before joining Good Things Foundation in 2018, Emma worked at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation where she led the on policy and research - overseeing programmes on poverty, place, housing, ageing, disability, race equality, and communities. Emma draws on her wider understanding of inequalities to inform Good Things Foundation’s strategy and delivery. Emma is Co-Investigator for the Minimum Digital Living Standard project, and represents Good Things on the likes of the NHS England’s Health and Wellbeing Alliance, UK Government DCMS’ Media Literacy Task Force, and Scottish Digital Inclusion Alliance.
